Wah Taj! Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea House Review

A huge variety of Royal Tea's

#WahTaj! OK so literally that's the first thing that comes in your mind when you enter this amazing at Brooke Bond #TajMahal Tea house, Bandra Reclamation in Mumbai.

This place has beautiful traditional antique interiors and classical music instruments on display. An entire wall is dedicated to Ustad Zakir Hussain the renowed Tabla player who is awarded Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan by the government of India. He is the legend who composed the music for the famous Wah Taj! ad which was a huge hit in the 90's. This gave Taj Mahal brand identity and popularity. This place naturally serves amazing tea and has a unique collection of variety of tea options to choose from. They also serve snacks and main course. The staff is very friendly and nice. There was also light classical soothing music playing in the background.

Luckily Mumbai Monsoon is here and every Mumbaikers all time favorite is hot tea and snacks, so it was a perfect day for us to be at this beautiful Taj Mahal tea house. Only this time it wasn't your inexpensive samosa and chai. 😂

This is what we tried.....

Bold spices tea Rs 165 - As unique as it is bold, this tea has ingredients like pepper which combines effortlessly with the heady woodiness and warmth of cardomam, cinnamon, cloves and ginger. The taste of this tea was amazing it was like Masala tea but stronger rich flavours.

Paneer and spearmint samosa with plum and kokum chutney - Rs 250
Delicious bite size samosa filled with vibrant spearmint and masala cottage cheese served with tangy chutney. Garnished with kale and basil leaves. It's basically mini samosas 3 pieces. These were very tasty and very nicely presented.
